Monday, June 2nd is celebrated the Republic Day. Treviso is getting ready for the celebrations.
TREVISO (TV). The Prefect, the President of the Province, and the Mayor of Treviso invite the entire population to participate. The ceremonies will begin at 9:15 am in Piazza della Vittoria with the participation of civil and military authorities.
After the honors to the Flag of the City of Treviso decorated with the Gold Medal for Military Valor, at 9:30 a.m. the flag-raising ceremony will take place, followed by the laying of laurel wreaths in memory of the Fallen. At the end of the solemn moment, an Interforces Unit will parade through the city center accompanied by the City Music Band “D. Visentin.”
The program will continue at 10:15 in Piazza dei Signori where, to the notes of the Italian National Anthem performed by the Music Band “D. Visentin”, the personnel of the Provincial Fire Brigade Command of Treviso will unfold a large tricolor flag from the facade of Palazzo dei Trecento. This will be followed by the reading of the President of the Republic’s message and institutional greetings from the authorities present.
At 11 o’clock, under the Loggia dei Trecento, the official concert of the Municipal Music Band “D. Visentin” will take place, to celebrate in music the anniversary of the Italian Republic.
