MOGLIANO VENETO (TV) – On Sunday, May 12th, the FAI Youth Group of Treviso will lead a tour of Villa Torni, a splendid seventeenth-century Venetian villa whose historic body develops from the manor house to the two barns, creating a courtyard overlooking the large garden to the south, and extending eastwards to the historic little church.
Inside Villa Torni there is a magnificent hall richly frescoed. In 1882 the complex became a hospital for pellagra patients at the behest of Costante Gris (1843-1925), who was then the mayor of Mogliano Veneto, and currently it is the seat of the Costante Gris Institute.
Visit hours: 10-13 14.30-18 (last visit 17.30).
Contribution starting from € 5.
On the same day, Sunday, May 12, it will also be possible to take a tour of Villa Boschi in Isola della Scala (VR) with the Gruppo FAI Giovani di Verona.
