Markets, shows, and the “Chinonsò” village dedicated to the Grinch: a month of events until January 6

CAORLE (VE) – Caorle is getting ready to experience a new edition of the Caorle Christmas Time, scheduled from December 6, 2025 to January 6, 2026. After last year’s record, with over half a million visitors from all over Europe, the seaside town is once again transforming into a large Christmas village.

This year’s novelty is “Chinonsò”, the largest Grinch-themed village in Italy, set up in the heart of the historic center. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an ironic and scenic world, among colorful houses, theatrical performances, workshops for children, and meetings with the famous green character created by Dr. Seuss. An experience designed for both adults and children, complementing traditional markets and light installations with a touch of fantasy and fun.

Organized by Confcommercio Portogruaro Bibione Caorle together with the Municipality of Caorle and under the artistic direction of Simone Tomasello, the event offers a month of shows, food and wine, and attractions that make the city a reference point for Christmas in Northern Italy. Last year, the initiative recorded full occupancy in hotels and a tourist flow comparable to summer peaks, confirming the value of the event as a driver of de-seasonalization.
