With roots dating back to the 17th century, Villa Braida is one of the most charming Venetian Villas in our region. Built as a noble residence in nineteenth-century style, surrounded by an enchanting centuries-old park, the frescoes in its Venetian-style halls tell stories of past eras.
The locus amoenus represents a sort of Eden where man finds serenity. The tranquility of the surroundings and the bucolic setting make even rest an experience to savor. A journey back in time takes visitors to an era when the only sounds were those of nature, the singing of birds, and the hooves of horses.
It must have been precisely during the time when the Villa was built, replacing a previous building by the will of Giovanni Braida. It is estimated to be around 1825. Later, the building passed into the hands of the Cutrone and Mastea families, eventually being purchased by the Ancillotto family, who soon transformed it into an agricultural business.
Today the Villa, located in Mogliano Veneto (TV), strategically positioned between Venice and Treviso, regularly hosts weddings, meetings, conferences, and fashion shows. These events take place in its richly decorated and frescoed rooms. Adding to its charm is the elegant restaurant housed inside, which offers typical and refined cuisine, accompanied by a wide selection of the best Venetian wines.
Saturday, February 10, 2024 is a date to remember: Villa Braida will be transformed into a charming setting to celebrate Carnevale. The exclusive dinner inside its suggestive halls allows participants to immerse themselves in the beauty of the architecture and the atmosphere of another era. Masked attire is preferred.
