Coach Roselli has announced the XV that will take the field on Saturday for their home debut in this Six Nations against Scotland
PARMA – The women’s ItalRugby finally debuts at home. In the third round of the Women’s Guinness Six Nations, the Italian National Team will take the field at the Sergio Lanfranchi Stadium in Parma against Scotland on Saturday at 5:30 PM live on Sky Sport Arena. For this important match, head coach Fabio Roselli has selected the XV that will take the field and those ready to come off the bench.
The team continues with the momentum from the first two matches, featuring a mix of young players and veterans. The front line will consist of Turani (on his 50th cap), Vecchini, and Zanette starting for the first time. Fedrighi and Duca in the second line will bring much more experience. In the third line, the trio of Sgorbini, Ranuccini, and Giordano is confirmed. In the midfield, Stefan and Madia, with D’Incà returning to the wing. Centers Mannini and Sillari, Muzzo on the other wing, and Ostuni Minuzzi at fullback.
On the bench return Francesca Granzotto and Alessandra Frangipani, with Margherita Tonellotto for the first time in the 23. If she were to debut, she would become the 226th Azzurra.
