160 kg of paint from the San Marco brand donated, together with Avis Venezia, to the “Santa Maria Maggiore” Penitentiary
Venice – A few days ago, a symbolic delivery of a jar of paint took place at the AVIS Provincial headquarters in Venice, destined for the male prison “Santa Maria Maggiore” in Venice.
The initiative was born from the collaboration between AVIS Provincial Venice and San Marco Group S.p.A., which, thanks to the interest of the association, donated numerous cans of white paint and related materials for painting. The materials will be used for the renovation and improvement of some areas within the detention facility, such as the meeting room, the corridors, and the cells.
Present at the ceremony were: Fabio Reggio, president of AVIS Provincial Venice; Roberta Vecci, artistic director of San Marco Group S.p.A.; Rosanna Gargano, director of the men’s prison; the members of the AVIS executive; also hosting the event were Mario Spessotto, vice president of the association and creator of the project, and Nicola Favaro, deputy vice president.
