From 15 October 2025 to 22 March 2026, Palazzo Sarcinelli will host over 80 works by Banksy and other big names in international street art
CONEGLIANO (TV, ITALY) – Advance ticket sales have begun for one of the most eagerly awaited artistic events of 2025: the exhibition “BANKSY and Street Art”, scheduled to run at Palazzo Sarcinelli from 15 October 2025 to 22 March 2026. An immersive journey into the irreverent and provocative language of urban art, exploring rebellion, pacifism, criticism of consumerism and anti-establishment struggles.
Curated by Daniel Buso and organised by ARTIKA in collaboration with Deodato Arte and the City of Conegliano, the exhibition brings together over 80 works by Banksy and other leading figures on the urban scene, from Keith Haring to Shepard Fairey (Obey), as well as contemporary talents such as TvBoy, Mr. Brainwash and Mr. Savethewall.
Among the most eagerly awaited pieces is Kids on Guns, a unique work by Banksy created with spray paint on canvas. The powerful and symbolic image depicts two children – a boy with a teddy bear and a girl with a red heart-shaped balloon – balancing on a pyramid of weapons. A stark contrast between innocence and violence, in which the child’s gesture of comfort and the fragile balloon become metaphors for hope in a world marked by war. The composition recalls the pyramidal structure of Delacroix’s famous Liberty Leading the People, evoking the tension between oppression and the desire for freedom.
The work, sold by Banksy in 2013 in New York during his “residency” Better Out Than In for just $60 at a makeshift kiosk, is now a symbol of his poetics: art as a tool of denunciation, capable of disturbing the powerful and giving voice to the most vulnerable.
The exhibition promises to be not just an exhibition, but an immersive experience that recounts street art as a global cultural phenomenon, capable of combining aesthetics and social commitment.
