During the weekend that concludes the Ferragosto week, there is the possibility to escape the summer heat by immersing oneself in the greenery of the parks and enriching the day with a unique cultural experience. The perfect opportunity arises tomorrow, August 18th, with the return of the Sunday dedicated to the Dimore Amiche del Veneto. These historic residences open their doors for a series of exceptional guided tours, offering an unmissable opportunity to discover some of the architectural gems of the Veneto region, particularly in the provinces of Padua, Verona, and Vicenza.
In the province of Padova, you can visit Parco Frassanelle at 5:00 PM, a green oasis that offers a charming path through the villa, park, and caves. Moving to Vicenza, you can discover Villa Valmarana ai Nani at 10:30 AM, Castello di Thiene also at 10:30 AM, and Villa Da Schio a Castelgomberto at 11:00 AM. In Verona, the appointment is at Villa Sagramoso Sacchetti, with an exclusive visit to the villa’s small church at 11:00 AM.
These cultural events aim to promote and enhance the historical residences still inhabited by the families who have been guarding them for generations, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and architecture of these unique places. The Adsi Dimore Amiche del Veneto (DAV) circuit, born in 2020, aims to network the experiences of each villa and enhance the historical, architectural, and cultural heritage of the Veneto region.
