PARIS (FRANCE) – The artistic swimming World Cup stage in Paris concludes with a hat-trick. At the historic pool Georges Vallerey, the Italian team brings home one gold, one silver, and one bronze.
Gold for Pelati and Ruggiero
Great success for Filippo Pelati and Lucrezia Ruggiero in the mixed free duo. The Italians win gold with a score of 256.0033 points, including 108.2033 for elements and 147.8000 for artistic impression. Already fourth in Singapore 2025, the Italian couple presents the “Argentine Tango” to the music of “Jealousy Tango” by Katica Illényi, choreography by Anastasia Ermakova.
The duo excels at interpreting the intensity and emotion typical of tango, blending the two performers. In second place are the Colombians Emily Minante and Gustavo Sanchez with 251.2967, ahead of the British Isabelle Thorpe and Ranjuo Tomblin with 249.1125. Silver for the acrobatic

Gabriele Minak in bronze
The day opened with a bronze in the men’s solo free routine by Gabriele Minak. The Italian scored 230.4400 points with 111.3900 for elements and 119.0500 for artistic impression. The 19-year-old from Imola performed “Man or Alien?” to the music of “Optimate” with choreography by Simona Ricotta.
Ninth was Filippo Pelati with 177.5376 points (55.5876 for elements and 121.9500 for artistic impression). The 19-year-old from Ferrara – world bronze medalist in Singapore 2025, showcased his strong piece, which already earned him bronze in Singapore.
