Three days of tastings, craftsmanship, and high pastry: Rovigo becomes the Italian capital of chocolate
ROVIGO. The intense aroma of cocoa, the signature creations of the best chocolatiers, and the welcoming atmosphere of the festivities: this is the mix that, from Friday, November 28 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, will transform Corso del Popolo in Rovigo into a true theater of sweetness. The city will host the sixth stop of the “Puro Cioccolato Festival 2025”, open continuously from 10 AM to 9 PM.
Rovigo transforms into a paradise for chocolate lovers
For three days, the heart of the historic center will become the reference point for all chocolate lovers. Over 15 stands will welcome master chocolatiers, artisan pastry chefs, and producers from all over Italy and various countries around the world.
A multisensory journey through regional specialties, signature pralines, international delicacies, and surprising interpretations of cocoa, capable of combining tradition, innovation, and creativity.
The festival promises an immersive experience, filled with intense aromas, tastings, and stories that explore the history and culture of one of the most beloved and fascinating foods on the planet.
The signature of Alfredo Orofino, “King of Street Food”
Leading this prestigious event is Alfredo Orofino, a Turin entrepreneur and President of the A.I.R.S. – Italian Street Food Association. Known as “The King of Street Food”, Orofino is the mastermind behind the International Street Food Festival, the largest traveling event dedicated to street food, with over 200 stops a year.
His vision, combined with the collaboration with Confartigianato Polesine and the sponsorship of the Municipality of Rovigo, has also transformed the Puro Cioccolato Festival into a nationally significant event, capable of enhancing craftsmanship and promoting the territory through quality, passion, and sharing.
Campion (Confartigianato Polesine): “A celebration that unites tradition, warmth, and creativity”
Great satisfaction also from Marco Campion, president of Confartigianato Polesine, who comments:
“We are truly proud to bring the event to Rovigo thanks to our collaboration with Airs. A chocolate festival, just before the Christmas holidays, always attracts a large audience and creates an atmosphere of warmth and community. It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the value of craftsmanship. The street food formula, even for high pastry, is modern, appeals to people, and allows chocolatiers to connect closely with consumers.”
A family event
The Pure Chocolate Festival 2025 is not just a food fair: it is a true celebration of confectionery culture, a journey filled with emotions, discovery, and fun.
Rovigo will become the Italian capital of sweetness, ready to host thousands of visitors with a program rich in tastings, workshops, meetings, and activities for both adults and children.
An event designed for families, tourists, enthusiasts of the sector, and professionals, who will have the opportunity to meet the protagonists of the art of chocolate in all its forms up close.
