Two evenings of music, wine, and breathtaking views in Montegrotto Terme
PADUA – The enchanting panoramic terrace of Villa Draghi is ready to host the first edition of Calici di Jazz (“Jazz Glasses”), an event that blends quality music, wine, and nature. On Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31, 2025, Montegrotto Terme will become the stage for two jazz-filled nights of emotion, refinement, and discovery.
The initiative, curated by APS Play with the patronage of the City of Montegrotto Terme, is organized in collaboration with Terme Colli Marketing, Strada del Vino Colli Euganei, Fattoria Sociale Il Brolo, and NaturaSì. Admission is free upon reservation at www.sentierisonori.it and includes a glass of wine of your choice, a snack, and free access to the villa.
The evenings begin at 8:30 p.m. with a wine tasting, followed by live music starting at 9:15 p.m. The terrace of Villa Draghi, accessible via a scenic 15-minute walk, will provide a unique setting for the experience. Assistance is available for those with mobility difficulties (info@sentierisonori.it).
The debut concert on Saturday, August 30, will feature the power and spirituality of the Gospel Voices Family, an ensemble founded in 2018 by pianist Dario Dal Molin and composed of the extraordinary voices of Banji Tofade, Fede Simons, and Ekua Simons, with Moreno Buttinar on drums. More than just a choir, they are a group of soloists who move seamlessly from soul to funk, from spirituals to hip-hop, delivering a vibrant, intense concert that conveys the full strength of Black music.
The second evening, Sunday, August 31, will be a journey through cinema and jazz with the Girasoli Jazz Ensemble, directed by Alberto Zuanon and Giuseppe Dato, presenting an elegant selection of Italian film soundtracks and international jazz classics. Enhancing the performance will be the presence of saxophonist and clarinetist Francesco Bearzatti, one of Europe’s most acclaimed jazz musicians, known for blending jazz, rock, and electronics into a personal, innovative language. Winner of numerous awards—from Top Jazz 2003 to Best European Musician by the Académie du Jazz Française (2011)—Bearzatti will bring his energy and creativity to the stage.
Calici di Jazz promises to be an event that unites culture, conviviality, and nature: an opportunity to listen to great artists, taste local wines, and experience the magic of Villa Draghi at sunset.
