1 Mins read

Everything is ready for the Jubilee of adolescents, which will take place from April 25th to 27th. This is one of the most anticipated jubilee events of the Holy Year, as it is the first Jubilee dedicated to this age group in the history of Jubilees. As of last Wednesday, April 16th, more than eighty thousand participants had registered. The young people will gather in Rome to experience faith, spiritual growth, and intercultural dialogue. Participants will come not only from Italy but also from various parts of the world: the United States, Brazil, India, Spain, Portugal, France, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, Argentina, Nigeria, Australia, and many other countries. Additionally, various dioceses will be represented, along with their youth ministries, associations, and movements, including Agesci, Italian Catholic Action, Salesian Youth Movement, and numerous other organizations that support the spiritual growth and comprehensive education of young people. The entire program can be found on the Jubilee’s website at https://www.iubilaeum2025.va/it.html.

The organizers highlight, in particular, some significant moments: the opening prayer of the “Via Lucis” on April 25 in the EUR district in Rome, then the meetings of the “Dialogues with the city” during the day of April 26, which will conclude with the grand concert at Circo Massimo, scheduled from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Among the many artists who will participate in the music festival, the presence of one of the most popular Italian pop bands among young people in Italy and abroad, The Kolors, has been announced. All the other names will be announced shortly. The jubilee event will reach its peak with the Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday, April 27, at 10:00 am, in St. Peter’s Square, during which Blessed Carlo Acutis, a very young example of faith and sanctity in everyday life for the new generations, will be canonized.
