A special day in the prehistoric village with guided tours, creative workshops, and a dive into the past for the whole family
Thursday, May 1st, the Didactic Archaeological Park of Livelet will come alive with a full program of outdoor activities, including: stilt houses to explore, creative workshops curated by FavolArte – Bottega del Libro Illustrato, and paths immersed in the greenery. The prehistoric village will indeed be the ideal destination to spend a day in nature and archaeology, suitable for both young and adult explorers.
TREVISO. Immersed in a unique naturalistic setting, the Didactic Archaeological Park of Livelet will open its doors to the public next Thursday, May 1st, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Throughout the day, archaeologists will guide visitors in discovering the faithfully reconstructed pile-dwelling village on the shores of the lake. The occasion is for a journey in three stages that will allow you to immerse yourself in the daily life of the Neolithic, the Copper Age, and the Bronze Age.
As usual, there will also be moments of creativity: thanks to the collaboration with FavolArte – Bottega del Libro Illustrato, two workshops dedicated to children will be active in two time slots, from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00. In both cases, there will be ateliers curated by Anna Casaburi, titled “RiciclArte”, where children and young people will be guided in creating artistic artifacts using recycled materials.
The Livelet also offers a play area overlooking the lake, gardens to relax in, and nature trails enriched with educational panels to learn about the flora and fauna of the area. Those who enjoy walking can explore the paths around the Lakes of the Valley or hike up to the Giant Bench 181, to enjoy a breathtaking view.
Guided tours and workshops can be booked directly at the ticket office upon arrival, while for picnic tables and barbecue areas it is necessary to book in advance by contacting the secretariat (limited availability, until sold out): Tuesday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, tel. 327 8548951, email: segreteria@parcolivelet.it. Except for extraordinary openings, the Park is accessible to the public from April to October on Sundays and holidays (May 1st, June 2nd) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program of all events is available, and constantly updated, on the website www.parcolivelet.it or on the Facebook page “Parco Archeologico Didattico del Livelet“.
