MILAN. Tomorrow, April 8, 2025, the open sale of tickets for the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Games will begin, scheduled from February 6 to 22, 2026. The sale will also continue for the Paralympic Games, which will take place from March 6 to 15, 2026.
An opportunity not to be missed for winter sports enthusiasts, who will be able to secure the best seats to witness live the most exciting moments of the world’s premier sporting event, which will return to Italy after 20 years. The Early Bird promotion, with offers at discounted prices for some sessions, will end on May 6th.

During the initial sales phases, which coincided with the “One Year to Go” for the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games, over 660,000 tickets were purchased. An extraordinary result, with a significant number of tickets sold not only in Italy, but also in countries such as Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Canada.
The most active age group was between 25 and 34 years old (over 30%), followed by the group between 35 and 44 years old (about 25%).

Each user can purchase up to a maximum of 25 tickets, which will be exclusively digital. Visa will be the official method of payment, in line with the historical partnership with the Games. All tickets for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games are strictly nominative.
It is possible to purchase tickets for oneself and for other people, and the names of the ticket beneficiaries must be entered by the purchaser before the events. Furthermore, a free name change will be allowed starting from December 2025, through the official Milan Cortina 2026 Ticketing app. Children under 3 years of age at the time of the session can enter for free, provided they are held in the arms or on the lap of the accompanying adult.
The Milan Cortina 2026 Ticketing program, along with the On Location Hospitality program, are the only official and secure sources for purchasing tickets for the upcoming Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
By purchasing tickets or hospitality packages outside the official platform, the buyer runs the risk that the tickets or packages will not be delivered or that they will be canceled by the Milan Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee according to the terms and conditions provided.
The Olympic Games: 16 days of emotions and medals
From February 6 to 22, 2026, Milan, Cortina, and other prestigious locations will host the best of winter sports, offering 116 Olympic titles:
- Milan will host the Opening Ceremony, figure skating, speed skating, short track, and ice hockey tournaments.
- Cortina d’Ampezzo will be the stage for women’s alpine skiing on the legendary Olympia delle Tofane, curling tournaments, bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge.
- Val di Fiemme will host cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined.
- Anterselva will be the temple of biathlon, a discipline that boasts a fifty-year tradition of international events in the South Tyrolean valley.
- Bormio will host men’s alpine skiing on the famous Stelvio slope and will celebrate the absolute debut of ski mountaineering in the Olympic program.
- Livigno, with freestyle and snowboarding, promises a mountain of entertainment and adrenaline.
- The picturesque Arena di Verona will become an Olympic venue, hosting the Closing Ceremony.
