From September 4 to 25, over 100 images by 62 international artists will bring the poetry of everyday gestures to the city squares and the Cloister of San Francesco.
TREVISO – The city of Treviso is preparing to host the 8th edition of the Treviso Photographic Festival, dedicated this year to the theme “Moments of Life.” The event celebrates street and reportage photography, capable of transforming spontaneous instants and daily scenes into visual stories rich in emotion and meaning.

From September 4 to 25, 2025, 62 artists from around the world will exhibit 112 works, turning Treviso into a true open-air museum. The photographs will be displayed both in the evocative Cloister of San Francesco and in the city’s main squares: Piazza dell’Università, Piazza Indipendenza, Piazzetta Aldo Moro, and Piazza Rinaldi.
Among the featured artists are prominent international names such as F. Dilek Yurdakul, Milos Nejezchleb, Gustavo Gomes, Eleni Albarosa, and Jason Au.
“The goal is to bring photography into the squares, places where history, architecture, and culture intertwine, becoming the heart of urban life,” explains curator Fabio Cavessago. “In this way, the images not only recount everyday life but also affirm the identity of a community and strengthen its unity.”
Equally enthusiastic is Treviso’s Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maria Teresa De Gregorio: “The Treviso Photographic Festival is a unique opportunity to bring art and excellence to the heart of the city, creating an integrated dialogue with the urban context and enhancing our cultural identity. It is a much-loved festival, one that will amaze and inspire reflection.”

The official opening will take place on Saturday, September 6 at 6:20 pm in the Cloister of San Francesco, featuring a dance performance by the Danzainsieme A.S.D. Treviso school, followed by a reception.
Admission is free. The event is made possible thanks to the support of Metalco, Birra Morgana, Banca della Marca, and ABS Group Srl.
