At the World Curling Championships, Amos Mosaner and Stefania Constantini lose 5-7 to South Korea. The decisive match to advance is against Scotland.
GENEVA (SWITZERLAND) – A setback this morning for Amos Mosaner and Stefania Constantini. At the 2026 World Championships in curling, officially named ACE & Company World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2026, the Italian duo was defeated 5-7 by South Korea.
The last match of the Round Robin, which will take place tonight at 7:00 PM against Scotland, is now crucial. Only six teams will advance to the knockout stage. Italy, with six wins and two losses including today’s, is still in the running to continue its pursuit of the World Cup.
By winning against the British, the Azzurri would secure second place in Group B. However, with a defeat, the bronze medal winners (also in mixed doubles) at Milan Cortina would have to hope for the right outcomes in the final matches of the Round Robin involving South Korea and Switzerland.
No break then, with the knockout stage taking place already between tomorrow and Saturday, May 2nd.
Here the complete schedule and results of the 2026 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships.
