Opens the House of Made in Italy in Venice

The House of Made in Italy is coming. After Bologna, Genoa, Milan, or Palermo, the House of Venice also opens, at 88 Torino Street in Mestre, the renewed version of the Territorial Inspectorates.

VENICE. Conceived by the Ministry of Enterprises as a new point of access and tool for connecting the promotion and dissemination of Italian productive excellences to foreign markets, the Houses of Made in Italy are becoming a reference point and contact through which citizens and businesses interact with local administrations and Chambers of Commerce, in order to coordinate for the growth of the productive fabric, even at a local level.

This afternoon, the Venetian House, number 17 at the moment, was inaugurated by the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, welcomed by the councilor for Economic Development of the Municipality of Venice Simone Venturini.

“Thanks to the minister and the Government for this initiative and above all for wanting to support small and medium-sized enterprises that are an integral part of the entrepreneurial fabric of Veneto. It also helps with internationalization and access to certain forms of financing.” These are the words of assessor Venturini, on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony. The assessor is satisfied with the attention to business and employment: “In this regard, Venice is available to support the efforts that the country is making: the City is and will continue to be a driving force for the visibility and growth of our companies, present to show the world the Italian know-how; we have been doing it with the Nautical Show for many years and we will do it with the second edition of the Artisan Show,” Venturini concluded.

The one in Mestre is a House in service of Venice and the entire Veneto region, until there is a House of Made in Italy in every province of Italy, the Ministry’s ultimate goal. “The Houses are already operating, providing services to companies in unity of purpose with local authorities, to give small and medium-sized enterprises the same opportunities that large companies have. The primary function of the Houses of Made in Italy is to be an information and assistance Hub, as well as a place for meeting and listening to territorial needs, just as is done nationally at ministerial tables,” Minister Urso’s words.
