Three days of meetings, masterclasses and cooking shows to promote Italian excellence and experiential, sustainable tourism in the setting of Palazzo Ca’ Vendramin Calergi

VENICE – On the morning of October 7, at Ca’ Farsetti and in the presence of the Councillor for Productive Activities, Sebastiano Costalonga, the fifth edition of FIET – International Festival of Food, Wine and Tourism was presented, scheduled in Venice from October 18 to 20, 2025. The event, to be held in the prestigious setting of Palazzo Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, confirms itself as one of the most significant appointments dedicated to the enhancement of Italian excellence in the fields of taste and hospitality.

The press conference opened with the founder and Brand Manager of FIET, Daniele Circiello, who illustrated the contents of three days full of experiences, meetings, and discussions on the future of Italian tourism and food and wine culture. The Festival – explained Circiello – aims to serve as a platform for dialogue and planning between professionals, companies, institutions, and enthusiasts, with the goal of promoting an increasingly experiential, sustainable, and high-quality tourist offer.

The FIET 2025 program includes Masterclasses and experiential Cooking Shows, moments dedicated to training and innovation in the restaurant and hospitality sectors, with a close look at international luxury markets and new strategies to enhance Made in Italy.

In his speech, Councillor Sebastiano Costalonga stressed the importance of the Festival as a tool to promote Italian culture as a whole:

“This fifth edition of FIET Italian Food and Tourism reiterates a fundamental concept: craftsmanship, agri-food, food and wine culture, and tourism excellence are an integral part of our culture. The tourist who visits Venice, or any other Italian city, does not only wish to admire monuments and works of art but to live a complete experience, made of authentic flavors and quality hospitality.”

The Councillor also highlighted how FIET represents “a constant effort to promote Italian excellence” carried out by Circiello throughout the country, in close collaboration with institutions, and how the event perfectly fits into the renewal path of the Venetian tourism model, increasingly oriented towards conscious and sustainable tourism.

At the heart of the event will be conferences and roundtables dedicated to highly topical issues: from environmental sustainability to the international luxury market, from the economies of the sea and land to the enhancement of cultural heritage and micro-territories. Particular attention will also be paid to the redevelopment of rural and coastal areas and the connection between food, health, and healthy lifestyles.

FIET 2025 is part of the “Le Città in Festa” program of the Metropolitan City of Venice, confirming the strategic role of the event in integrated territorial marketing that combines food and wine culture, culture, quality tourism, and sustainability.
