Combine the passion for the outdoors and good wine in the Bardolino hinterland
Cavaion Veronese (VR) – Nature, charm, olive trees and vineyards: there are many two-wheeled routes surrounding Villa Cordevigo, in the Bardolino area. Outside of conventional tourist itineraries, discovering a territory with ancient charm, riding a mountain bike or the very convenient e-bikes (provided directly by the historic residence for those staying there).

Passion for the outdoors and for the so-called slow life is what drives the choice of the charm of Villa Cordevigo, in search of moments of existence lived with deep value. In this context, the bicycle becomes the preferred means to sustainably experience a territory and appreciate its unusual nuances.
Five-star luxury, dating back to the 18th century, Villa Cordevigo is located in the prestigious estate of the Cristoforetti and Delibori families, in the Bardolino area. A few kilometers separate Bardolino from Cisano, the starting point of the famous “Vineyards Tour“, suitable for everyone – including families with children – to discover vineyards and olive groves.
A loop path, with several possible stops, to taste products and sample typical wines: 150 meters of easily pedalable elevation gain.

Along the 11 km Calmasino route, discovering the wines of the Bardolino hinterland, stands the church of San Francesco, dating back to 1500, which is worth a visit.
Continuing through an alternation of olive groves, vineyards, and breathtaking views over Lake Garda, a few kilometers lead to more than 30 different paths that wind through the territories of the nearby Bardolino, Lazise, Costermano sul Garda, and Caprino: itineraries that offer a succession of different environments and landscapes, with timeless charm.
Featuring different levels of practicability, elevation gain, and difficulty, the paths are suitable for those who choose to get lost in the inland areas, as well as for those who wish to cycle while looking at the Venetian shore of Lake Garda. All to eventually return to the peace of Villa Cordevigo.
The historic residence
Villa Cordevigo represents the perfect fusion of nature, charm, and luxury. The structure stands majestically in the picturesque location of Cordevigo, an ancient Roman settlement, in Cavaion Veronese, near Lake Garda.

Next to the main body of the residence stands the Renaissance-style chapel dedicated to San Martino, surrounded by a lush park enriched with centuries-old trees and water features, as well as a luxurious swimming pool. This ancient fiefdom, for centuries at the center of local history, has been carefully and passionately transformed by the Cristoforetti and Delibori families into an exclusive five-star luxury hotel, renowned for its fine wines, including three organic ones, from the extensive 23-hectare vineyard of the Villabella estate.
The 40 rooms and suites, distributed between the main body of the Villa and the two lateral barns, welcome guests in environments with elegant and classic design, where the precious craftsmanship of local artisans, carvers, decorators, painters, and upholsterers predominates. The Villa is open to the public from March to January and offers the possibility to organize meetings and corporate events, enriched by outdoor activities and team building.
The picturesque life path, 2 km long, takes the guest through vineyards and olive groves, and then leads to the top of the hill behind the villa, at a spectacular viewpoint to admire Lake Garda on the clearest days.
