The musical performances were curated by Associazione Manzato, with
Pietro Bertelli (percussions) and Enrico Baggio (lap steel, weissenborn, and guitar).
The theatrical readings and acting interventions were curated by Tema Cultura, in collaboration with Classici Contro from the University of Cà Foscari Venice, and in particular were performed by students from the more advanced courses.
At the end of the show, the audience did not want to get up from their seats, because the experience was so immersive and multi-sensory that people were enchanted by it, and Giovanna Cordova, the soul of Tema Cultura, had to “wake them up” from this enchantment, the result of the synergies that only she managed to bring together: theater, music, culture, and awakening of the senses with the new collaboration with EstiloLab & Sensi Distrati.
A special thanks also goes to those who have supported its initiatives from the very beginning, even when they did not have the success they have now: the Banca Prealpi, which understood that financing culture, especially that which supports educational activities for young people, adds value to its mission.
Now that we just have to wait for the fifth edition of the Mythos Festival, which will surprise us once again, thanks to the creativity and professionalism of Giovanna Cordoba.

At the center of the history of sport is the figure and deeds of Heracles, the greatest of all Greek heroes, the civilizing hero and benefactor of humanity, explored in particular by Professor Paola Angeli Bernardini in her presentation, also with the support of images of artworks that have represented him over time, distributed to the audience as a program sheet. He is the founder of the Olympic games. Between the ancient world and the present, the discussion on the theater stage has sought to identify the archetypes of our Olympics and the meanings for our time.

It is the time of joy, of the body exploding in celebration, of the aroma lingering in the air, like a toast suspended in time. And it is precisely for this reason that the young performers from the theater workshops of Tema Cultura first positioned themselves along the walls of the audience and then danced, approaching the public, whispering thematic phrases and applying drops of these essences on people’s wrists, thus moving the air and spreading the scents of these fragrances in the atmosphere, which became so immersive and preparatory for the subsequent interventions.
Following this, a public debate was held on Pindar’s Olympic Odes, featuring Carmine Catenacci from the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara and Paola Angeli Bernardini from the University of Urbino. The moderator was Professor Alberto Camerotto from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, who had previously introduced the earlier reading-performances, also being the curator of the volume from which the texts for this edition’s readings were taken.
The dialogue that took place between the two experts emphasized how sports competitions are manifestations of the beauty of life, signs of civilization and peace. Sports have always been a competition for excellence and a collective celebration that brings people together and transcends borders between nations.

With the show The Glory of Heroes – Heracles and the Glory of Olympia: the Poetry and Fame of Victory on May 12 at 8 PM, the cycle of reading-performances of its fourth edition of the Mythos Festival curated by Tema Cultura. has concluded.
The event, instead of taking place at the Ridotto as usual, was held inside the theater, on stage, both due to the presence of a large audience and the mode of representation.
In fact, this year’s preview, dedicated to perfumes and dance, which played such a significant role in ancient rituals, took place this time within the audience with a Flash mob, in collaboration with EstiloLab & Sensi Distrat, which also curated the olfactory aspects of the previous reading-show previews. This time it aimed to describe the fifth circle of the senses, complementing the previous ones, and was titled The scent of the celebration: “honey and sun”, where light with dance highlights the golden skins. The scent of honey indeed blends with laughter, embraces, and song.
