The Pope’s words of thanks for the prayers said for his health

Touched by the numerous messages of affection that are sent to him daily, and grateful for the prayers of the people of God, the Pope has recorded a brief audio message of thanks

ROME. This is the communication from the Press Office which, on the evening of Thursday, March 6, published the words of His Holiness Pope Francis, broadcast at the beginning of the recitation of the Holy Rosary in St. Peter’s Square: “I heartily thank you for your prayers for my health from the Square, I accompany you from here. May God bless you and may the Virgin protect you. Thank you.”

The Press Office also released the audio of the Pope speaking words of gratitude in his native language, Spanish: “Agradezco de todo corazón las oraciones que hacen por mi salud desde la Plaza, los acompaño desde acá. Que Dios los bendiga y que la Virgen los cuide. Gracias.”
