A precious treasure chest, to look into whenever we feel the need to thank the female universe without which the world would be orphaned and would boast of love, the real one. “Woman,” written during a trip to Bermuda, is a talented and creative tribute to women, often compared and described as an adult version of “Girl” by the Beatles, and still sounds today like a modern and moving whisper, almost like a message of apology and love, and was released as the second single from the album Double Fantasy, later becoming the first posthumous single after Lennon’s assassination on December 8, 1980.
