The Treviso area is preparing to become the beating heart of urological innovation. From May 21 to 23, 2026, Mogliano Veneto will host the 20th National UROP Congress, an event that will bring together over 250 specialists from across Italy to discuss the latest frontiers in robotic surgery, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies applied to urology. The primary goal? To improve patients’ quality of life by placing them at the center of an increasingly personalized and effective care pathway.
MOGLIANO VENETO (TV). The congress, titled “Technology and Quality of Life. The Patient at the Center,” will be co-chaired by Dr. Carmelo Morana, director of the Urology Operational Unit at the Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Monastier, and Dr. Stefano Pecoraro, UROP operational director. A unique opportunity to take stock of the evolution that has affected urology in recent years, thanks to the development of minimally invasive techniques, cutting-edge robotic platforms, and increasingly precise diagnostic methods.

Among the hot topics of the congress, new generation robotic surgery, innovations in the treatment of prostate and oncological diseases, new diagnostic technologies, telemedicine, and digital clinical monitoring systems stand out. Special attention will be given to the Da Vinci 5 Robot (Multi-Port), a cutting-edge system that promises to redefine global surgical standards thanks to “force feedback” technology, which allows the surgeon to “feel” the consistency of tissues, and enhanced computing power for the integration of artificial intelligence.
