On Saturday, visitors will be able to see the exhibition on Pertini and the permanent display for the price of 2 euros each

Mestre Venice – Ferragosto with open doors, in the name of accessibility and culture. All day on Saturday, August 15, M9 – Museum of the 900s offers a special symbolic entrance ticket: both the permanent exhibition and the temporary exhibition Pertini. The Art of Democracy”. Both will be accessible for the cost of 2 euros each, thus providing the opportunity to complete the visit of the Museum for a total of 4 euros.

The initiative represents an ideal opportunity to discover the exhibitions of the Museum or to return to the third floor for the exhibition dedicated to Sandro Pertini, which is now in its last month of programming before the final closure, scheduled for September 13.

Those who choose to visit the exhibition in these days will also find important novelties along the path: among these, the work “G.S1.R.807” by Mario De Luigi, arrived from the collections of the Fondazione di Venezia for the last appointment of the “Corrispondenze” cycle, and the reproduction of the iconic glasses of the President, coming from the Luxottica archives, which has replaced the ball from the 1982 World Cup inside the display case reserved for temporary “special guests”.

“We thought of this promotion to offer an opportunity to those who will spend Ferragosto in the city, who can find in M9 a chance for refreshment and in-depth exploration to celebrate a festive day together through the stories of our twentieth century,” declares Serena Bertolucci, Director of M9 – Museum of the 20th Century. “It will also be an opportunity for those who have already visited the exhibition on Pertini, who can return to discover the latest additions, such as the canvas by De Luigi and the glasses from the Luxottica archive, which complete an exhibition that has managed to offer new insights during these months of opening.”
