Fiocchi Ammunition and CSG present the new anti-drone solution for modern defense
Ferentino (FR), June 9, 2026 – Fiocchi Munizioni, a company of the CSG Group (Czechoslovak Group) and one of the leading European manufacturers of ammunition for the Defence and Law Enforcement sectors, organized a demonstration of its new anti-drone solution at the Legio Silent Academy Shooting Range in Ferentino.
The event, organized in collaboration with CSG, brought together specialized journalists and stakeholders from the Defence sector to illustrate the project, its development path, and its possible operational applications. Opening the day were Costantino Fiocchi, Group Chief Technical Officer, and Stefano Micheletti, Sales Director Defence & Law Enforcement of Fiocchi Munizioni.
An answer to new threats
The solution has been developed to counter mini and micro class drones, which are increasingly common in contemporary operational scenarios. Designed to be used with platforms already in service with the Armed Forces, it offers a response that can be quickly integrated into modern defense architectures.
The program was developed in collaboration with the Joint Command for Special Forces Operations (COFS) and the Counter Mini/Micro UAV Excellence Center in Sabaudia. After a detailed testing process at company facilities and national military ranges, the solution successfully completed the development and validation activities.
The operational demonstration
During the event, guests attended technical briefings and dynamic tests that demonstrated the effectiveness of the solution against various types of mini and micro drones, confirming its potential as a complement to modern ground force protection systems.

Today, having completed the validation process, we are ready to start production and meet market needs.”
