In Rome, a high-profile panel with institutions, Armed Forces, and industry to discuss the future of defense, as part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Fiocchi
Rome, June 10, 2026 – Institutions, representatives of the Armed Forces, the political world, and industry gathered in Rome to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Fiocchi with a panel dedicated to Defense issues. A high-level discussion that focused on innovation, security, and responsibility, values that have always guided the company.
The forum, titled “The Defense Industry between National Security and Global Scenarios: Innovation and Logistical Needs”, took place at Terrazza Civita and featured the participation of Gen. Carmine Masiello, Lt. Gen. Assorati, Sen. Maurizio Gasparri, and Michele Nones, moderated by journalist Flavia Giacobbe. After the greetings from President Stefano Fiocchi, Alexander Ruestig (CEO of Fiocchi Munizioni), David Chour (COO of CSG), Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, and Undersecretary at MIMIT Fausta Bergamotto also spoke.
The event was also attended by numerous representatives of institutions and the Armed Forces, confirming the strategic role of dialogue between industry and the Country System.
The evening concluded with a networking moment and the distribution of the monograph Fiocchi. 150 Years of Italian History (Rizzoli, 2026), created to celebrate a century and a half of industrial history.
The Roman appointment confirmed the 150th anniversary of Fiocchi as an opportunity to discuss issues of security and defense, in the spirit of “Legacy in Motion”: a tradition that continues to evolve while looking to the future.
