In Quarto d’Altino a new facility equipped with a swimming pool, solarium, a large park, beach volleyball and tennis courts. This is just part of a larger public-private initiative for the redevelopment of the Le Crete complex: the new Camper Resort area will open in September
Quarto d’Altino (VE) – The facility was inaugurated last Thursday; it is part of a broader transformation project of the Le Crete complex. The project, the result of a public-private partnership initiated in 2016 and realized in 2021, involved the urban regeneration of a former horse breeding farm, to create a new center of excellence for hospitality and recreation, without consuming new land.

The area has been redeveloped into two new functional zones. The one designated for public park, swimming pools, sports fields, and recreational areas was inaugurated yesterday. Meanwhile, the accommodation area, intended for a Camper Resort, will open in September, offering new opportunities for tourism development in the region.
“With this inauguration, we are responding to a request that citizens have been making for years – explains Mayor Claudio Grosso – It is a project that continues to promote the development and improvement of the Municipality over time; it is the redevelopment of an area of 80,000 square meters of green space for parks and services without consuming new land, creates new job opportunities, strengthens the tourism offer, and provides the community with a modern space dedicated to sports and leisure. It is another piece that demonstrates the planning and concreteness of the Administration, which step by step, consistently, shows the potential growth of the town. The surprises do not end with this result.”
In particular, although the property remains private, the swimming facility with the outdoor pool and the equipped green area are designated for public use. Their social enjoyment is guaranteed and protected by the municipal administration, which has regulated it with the urban planning agreement and the regulation approved by the municipal council resolution of last July 16. With the same resolution, the municipal administration authorized the management of the facility and the park to the company Laguna Sporting Club. Furthermore, entry conditions, regulated rates, and direct benefits for residents have been established.
“As an Administration, we wanted to ensure that this private investment would produce tangible benefits for residents, obtaining reduced rates, namely from Monday to Friday, every citizen will pay 10 Euros, (non-residents 12 Euros).
The weekend will cost 12 Euros, while it will be 15 Euros for non-residents. Entry will be free for children and teenagers up to 15 years old.
It is an important result, the result of a journey that began almost ten years ago and was completed thanks to the collaboration between public and private” concludes Grosso.
In detail, the swimming area includes an outdoor pool with a solarium, a large park with equipped green spaces designated for relaxation and play areas, a beach volleyball court, and a multifunctional court for five-a-side football and tennis, dining services, dedicated access, and external parking.
In addition to the public use of the water park, the countermeasures and benefits for the community outlined in the agreement include road safety interventions, with the construction of a new roundabout on Via Crete to eliminate the at-grade intersection with the A4 motorway bypass (“Venezia Est”) and a new pedestrian and cycling network for connectivity.
