Trieste – On July 18, 2026, the Club Amici della Topolino Trieste organizes “Moto & Flavors in Collio”, an event open to motorcycle enthusiasts that will combine the pleasure of riding with the promotion of the culinary and cultural excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The program
The meeting is set for 9:00 AM at the Lumiere Bar at via Flavia 7 in Trieste, where participants will be welcomed with a breakfast before departure. From here, a scenic motorcycle route will begin through some of the most enchanting landscapes of the region, with a stop along the way for a communal snack.
The destination will be the prestigious Castello di Spessa, in the heart of Collio, where the program will continue with a visit to the historic medieval cellars and a guided tasting of three wines, an opportunity to get to know one of the most renowned wine-producing realities of the area up close.
The day will continue with lunch in the elegant halls of the castle, where specialties from the Friulian tradition will be offered, including lasagna, typical cheeses and cold cuts, ham, vegetable focaccia, dessert, mineral water, and coffee.
For those who wish to extend the experience, the afternoon will be free with the option to choose, to be booked and paid separately, between a round of golf or a moment of relaxation at the Vinum Spa, immersed in the exclusive atmosphere of the Castello di Spessa.
The initiative represents much more than just a motorcycle gathering: it is an opportunity to share the passion for bikes, spend a day together, and discover the scenic, historical, and gastronomic heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia, traversing some of its most picturesque locations.
The participation fee is 40 euros per person and includes a welcome breakfast, a motorcycle tour with a refreshment stop, a visit to the wineries with a guided tasting, and lunch at the Castello di Spessa.
