The 30 blues for the VNL

The head coach of the men’s national volleyball team, Ferdinando De Giorgi, has officially announced the list of 30 players who will be used for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League.

The official debut of the men’s national volleyball team is getting closer. The World Champions are preparing to participate in the Volleyball Nations League 2026 with the clear intent of repeating the successes of recent years. For the occasion, the Head Coach Ferdinando De Giorgi has officially announced the list of 30 players who will rotate during the various stages of the competition.

The blues, silver medalists in the last VNL, will debut in Ottawa (Canada) from June 10 to 14, where they will face France, Germany, Turkey, and United States. The second week will see Italy take the stage in Ljubljana in Slovenia from June 24 to 28. The closing of the intercontinental phase will instead be in Kansai (Japan) from July 15 to 20.


In week 2, the blue team will head to Ljubljana, Slovenia (June 24-28) and then conclude the intercontinental phase in Kansai (Japan) from July 15 to 20. The finals, on the other hand, will take place from July 29 to August 2 in Ningbo (China)
