The philosophy of the sea

2 Mins read

In Jesolo, the fourth edition of the Festival “Aqua – The Philosophy of the Sea” is in full swing with a trio of exceptional guests

Jesolo – This morning, at the first light of dawn, on the beach of Piazza Brescia, a voice and piano concert by Pacifico took place, where the Milanese singer-songwriter Alberto Mancini transforms songs into intimate dialogues, where melody and lyrics intertwine naturally.

Writing, always at the center of her artistic journey, becomes storytelling and confession, traversing personal and collective emotions. The piano accompanies, supports, opens pathways, allowing a collected and sincere dimension to emerge, where listening becomes close and music returns to being a shared gesture.

On the shore, one listens to what remains

Tuesday, June 16 at 8:30 PM on the beach of Piazza Brescia, Chiara Francini, actress and author among the most original voices of the contemporary scene, brings to the festival her work “On the Shore, One Listens to What Remains“, a reflection on roots and the silent strength of memory.

Through personal and collective storytelling, it weaves irony and depth, shaping stories that span generations and question the present. Like those in her novel The Oaks Don’t Bear Lemons, where she delves into family memory and the great Italian History, creating a fresco in which resilience becomes a daily gesture and dignity an act of resistance.

Dialoguing with the sea, its tale becomes an invitation to recognize one’s roots in order to navigate change. Because, like water, memory also returns, transforms, and continues to call us.

Electroacoustic Trio

More music on Wednesday, June 17 (8:30 PM – beach area of Piazza Brescia) with Omar Pedrini and his electroacoustic trio featuring Davide Apollo (vocals) and Simone Zoni (guitar and vocals), for an original proposal of theater and music.

The songs of Omar and the Timoria become stories to tell and melodies to reinterpret, in a journey that crosses time and emotions. Every note, every word, opens glimpses into the past and the present, transforming the concert into a vibrant and pulsating narrative, where memory and creativity meet, inviting the listener to follow the thread of a path that is at once musical, narrative, and deeply human.

The three events are free entry.
