A weekend of bad weather is coming across Italy, but it will be short-lived
It will be brief, but it will be an important stormy outburst across our entire country. It will begin this Saturday, and will be characterized by violent thunderstorms affecting many areas. The regions most affected will initially be those in the central-northern part.
It will be a situation to monitor, because very violent thunderstorms may occur. The phase of instability will be accompanied by a further drop in temperature that will add to what we have already seen in the last few days.
The bad weather will not be felt in Italy until the afternoon of Saturday, July 25. The morning will still be a sunny day over much of the Italian territory. Then, in the afternoon there will be a deterioration in the Alpine region, starting from the northwest.
The night between Saturday and Sunday will be marked by rain and thunderstorms in the northwest, especially in Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Liguria, and northern Tuscany, but with precipitation also reaching Lombardy and Trentino-Alto Adige.
The heaviest accumulations between Saturday evening and Sunday morning are expected between Piedmont and Aosta Valley.
