Mestre Painting Prize 2026, the presentation of the awarded works

On Wednesday, May 27th at 6:00 PM in the conference room of the Candiani Cultural Center, the important event took place: “Presentation of the awarded works in the 2026 edition of the Mestre Painting Prize”

The evening began with the introduction of Christiano Costantini, president of the Veneto Painting Circle, and the inspiring and comprehensive presentation of the winning works by Marco Dolfin, historian and art critic. We remember the top three winners of the Mestre Painting Prize 2026, starting with the first, Carlo Martini (Spiraglio), followed by the second, Mauceri Elìa (Lo sfratto), and finally the third, Tagliapietra Alessandro (Piazzale Candiani).

Following this, the drawing for the recognition prizes for the collaboration among the members of the Popular Jury present at the event took place.

The Mestre Painting Prize 2026 has seen the selection of 60 finalist artists, chosen from a large number of submitted works, 600, showcasing an excellent quality line. The collective exhibition is hosted in the new spaces of Muvec – Casa delle Contemporaneità at the Candiani Cultural Center in Mestre, open until June 7.
